The place has a lot of potential, with authentic rooms and an amazing view. Unfortunately, it feels neglected and is in need of better maintenance. The administrator was very nice and friendly. It was also a bit cold at night, and we were initially given just one thin blanket for the two of us. However, when we asked, they brought us a warm blanket.
Unfortunately, our stay was a big disappointment.
Let’s start with the location. The village is tiny, with literally just one restaurant, which wasn’t open on the day we arrived, so we ended up going to bed hungry. There isn’t even a grocery store. There’s basically one street, and that’s it. The nearest place with any actual amenities is a 15-minute drive away in a neighbouring village.
Breakfast was very basic, just enough to make a sandwich and have a cup of coffee (we just took a look, decided not to order). There’s a microwave in the common area, but no plates or kettle anywhere on the property. So it's very uncomfortoble for heating your food.
Our room was cleaned only once during our stay, and the small rubbish bin was never emptied. It was already full after the first day, but nobody bothered to replace the bag.
The property itself, which I would describe as more of a B&B than a hotel, looks neglected and almost abandoned. The pool seems more decorative than functional: it’s very small and doesn’t look particularly clean. There are also numerous dead potted plants scattered around the grounds.
Also, two of the lamps in our room, one by the bed and another on the balcony, weren’t working.
Overall, the property feels poorly maintained, and the lack of even basic amenities and attention to detail made our stay quite disappointing.
