The location made for easy walking around the town, to the harbor, and to the amazing bakery directly across the street for wonderful coffee and an array of choices for breakfast or lunch. Easy parking on the street.
The floor to ceiling windows provided lovely sunset views, let in plenty of light, and there were shades to pull down for less sun or more privacy as needed. A very modern and simple yet elegant and comfortable feel to the entire living/dining/kitchen area, with clever use of space and good lighting. Bedrooms also had large windows with views of ocean and Mt. Pico. Stunning!
Very minor issue -- the water splattering out of the shower and wetting the floor near the toilet.
For those with old knees the flights of stairs might be a challenge -- it's one flight from the entry up to the living/kitchen (good handrail) and another flight up to the bedrooms (partial handrail). We managed just fine, but felt a need to be cautious. It was worth the caution.

Clean and comfortable house. Near the ferry port and the city center. There is an excellent bakery and coffee shop In front of the house. You have everything you need in the house. We could find to park a car at the street no matter when we arrived.
There is a noisy place nearby.
