So bad

Location，but go the Tekapo lake on foot is pretty hard，if u rent a car it’s ok

⚠️ Warning: Please be cautious when booking this property. Shortly after check‑out, we were automatically charged NZD 300 by the host, claiming we had clogged the kitchen sink and left the accommodation extremely dirty. Neither accusation is justified. The plumbing fixtures in this house have pre‑existing serious drainage issues. Water took half an hour to drain even after just washing a head of lettuce in the kitchen sink, despite the built‑in strainer. The sink got blocked simply from rinsing food residue off plates. It was not caused by us dumping large amounts of food waste. Slow drainage was not limited to the kitchen: the guest‑bath toilet and the main‑bedroom washbasin also drained very slowly. This is an inherent hardware defect of the property, not damage caused by guest use. Furthermore, the claim that the room was extremely dirty is groundless. We spent most of our time outside joining the Tekapo stargazing tour. We only came back for meals and sleep. We did not even take a shower at this property. The host attributed pre‑existing plumbing problems to the guest and charged an excessive fee. All future guests are strongly advised to test every drain and take photos or video evidence of the whole house upon check‑in to avoid unfair extra charges.

Not for us sorry

Check in pretty easy but the payment had to be done with bank transfer rather than credit card which wouldn't work if you were an international guest Luckily we are kiwis from Queenstown

The furnishings need to be improved & the decor isn't very attractive The couch was very uncomfortable after a long drive Very cold floors with no heating under the tiles and wooden floors are very worn out Bed was very average If your looking for a good night's stay this isn't for you unfortunately Go to the resorts this place feels very much neglected Sorry owners but you need to hear this feedback

A nice and easy two bedroom house. A short stroll to town centre. Easy parking

Checkin could have been a lot easier. Extra hassle going different address to process the payment.
