RESIDENZA BELVEDERE boasts an exclusive location:
We are just a short walk from the Coppedè District and in the immediate vicinity of Corso Trieste and Piazza Istria.
Beautiful parks such as Villa Chigi and Villa Ada.
Art Nouveau villas and charming, tree-lined squares are its hallmarks.
The beauty of the Fontana delle Rane and the enchanting architecture of Piazza Mincio, designed by the genius Gino Coppedè in the early 1900s, are among the reasons why everyone comes here at least once.
And there’s so much more:
from the “Devil’s Chair” in Piazza Elio Callistio to the Catacombs of Priscilla, passing through Sant’Agnese and the Mausoleum of Santa Costanza, all the way to Villa Torlonia.
This is also where the prestigious Luiss University is located.
A few suggestions on where to eat and drink in the Trieste neighborhood, from breakfast to dinner:
On the wonderful PIAZZA CAPRERA, it’s a must to enjoy an espresso at the tables of Marziali 1922, a historic café and bakery with a kitchen that also offers its coffee blends as cold brew and specialty coffees.
Their pastries are exceptional, as are the pizza, cakes, and other bakery items. Open from breakfast through dinner, it’s also renowned for its lunch menu.
Trattoria Verbano, on Piazza Verbano, is a contemporary “industrial”-style tavern with a retro touch. It features a reimagined Roman menu with a wide selection of dishes and wines. It’s a place you’ll always be happy to return to for the carciofi alla giudìa and the delicious supplì, as well as the truly noteworthy cacio e pepe and carbonara. Among the main courses, I recommend the coda alla vaccinara with pine nuts.
Mangiafuoco, a restaurant offering everything from pasta to grilled meat and fish, all the way to pizza.
They pay special attention to gluten and lactose allergies, with an extensive selection. There are plenty of gluten-free appetizers and first courses, as well as a selection of wines and beers—all of which are gluten-free.
