Such a unique apartment, spacious, secure, and clearly full of history. Very comfortable, good air conditioning, and a great kitchen to cook in. Gloria and Matteo were very attentive to our needs.
Close to what we wanted to see in Rome - especially the Borghese gardens and villa - and to a great market for cooking.
Rome has had a bad mosquito season in 2026 and we had to keep the windows closed. However, the building was getting mosquito treatment the week after we left so hopefully not a problem for future guests.
The fridge freezer did not seem to be working properly, not a major issue as we were only using the fridge.

Good location, nice building and the layout of the apartment was convenient, with a separate dining/kitchen area. Having two bathrooms was also very convenient. Kitchen was quite well stocked for home cooking. Plenty of different bus options not far from the apartment.
Stairs behind the property seem to be a night time meeting spot for local youth so there was a bit of noise during the night but nothing too extreme.
