Interesting small guesthouse with basic amenities in a former pub. Roughly 1 mile (1.6 kilometres from Liverpool Anfield, football (soccer) Stadium and a 10 minute drive/taxi ride from Liverpool Lime Street train station.
Sound proof, ground floor double room with en-suite bathrom. Comfy double bed with a table on each side of bed. 1 small table in room and one comfy chair. Hooks to hang clothes/coats on wall in room under the flat screen tv. Rubbish bin under table. Kettle, free tea, coffee, milk sashays and sugar sashays. Lamps and plug sockets be each side of bed. 1 small window. Bath towels included in room. Small bathroom, sink with hand soap on wall and in shower. Shower cubical up one step. Good hot water and power. toilet paper in bathrom beside toilet. Rubbish bin in bathroom, rug on the floor.
Free good speed WiFi. Key card to enter both the building and the room. Some parking onsite, don't know if free or not. Kirkdale Merseyrail train station is opposite the guesthouse.
Both my partner and I were bitten several times while in the room, maybe bed bugs? Have to phone or email to request extra tea/coffee, milk/sugar, etc from guesthouse staff. Reception often un-staffed. Rubbish bin in room wasn't emptied daily.
No restaurant/kitchen in guest house. No breakfast available, free or paid. Apparently, some eateries in the area, but didn't find anything within walking distance of guest house. Room 2 is a little small, especially with the table and chair near the end of the bed.
A little expensive for what is offered. £90 per night for 2 people, with no wardrobe, no selves to put clothes and only two draws on each side of bed.

Place is nice with a comfortable bed, teamaking facilities and clean room. Wifi was available, and staff was very friendly and usefull for taking care of our needs. Place is very close to train and bus station and you can be in the city centre in 15 nmiutes. Also close are both football stadiums.
Bathroom was quite small, with no hangers or hooks for towels. Plenty of noise from outside as it is located right next a road.

Didn’t meet expectations. Dated. Smelled strongly of curries. Not the best.
Quite a lot but it was a bed if nothing else.
