At the end of 2020, we took over the forester’s house, which was built in 1893, and are in the process of bringing the house’s charm to life. The multi-family home is a detached house conveniently located right next to the Harz National Park. The center of Braunlage is about 4 km away. There is a bus stop in front of the house—from here, buses run regularly to Braunlage, Bad Harzburg, and Sankt Andreasberg. (The bus fare is included in the visitor’s tax.) The garden, which is three-quarters fenced in, covers 3,200 square meters and is perfect for enjoying nature, as a play area for children, for cozy get-togethers, or for watching wonderful sunsets.

This cozy, well-furnished vacation rental features two separate bedrooms, each with a large double bed, and can accommodate up to five people; The Eulennest is located on the 1st floor and is accessible via a staircase; in the living area, you’ll find a comfortable sofa set with a TV and radio, as well as a dining area for shared meals, while the fully equipped kitchenette—featuring a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an electric stove with an oven, a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and a full range of dishes and cooking utensils, providing everything you need for self-catering; The bright bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, toilet, and convenient storage options; smoke detectors ensure safety; and the rental price already includes Wi-Fi (subject to availability in case of disruptions), water, electricity, heating, bed linens, and towels; A baby crib and a high chair can be provided free of charge.



On-site costs: Payment is requested approximately one week before arrival and can be made in advance via bank transfer or in cash upon arrival.Cancellations made up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made between 30 and 14 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total cost; cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total cost. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is available between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. To ensure a smooth process, please adhere to the specified times. Different times are possible ONLY by prior arrangement. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you for the additional time. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. A crib or rollaway bed can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed for a fee of €5 per pet per night. Your pets are not permitted to use the couch or the bed. If they do, please place your own blankets underneath them. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you a special cleaning fee. The visitor’s tax must be paid in cash on-site: €3.05 per adult / €1.70 per child per day per family. You will receive a visitor’s card upon arrival. (The guest tax is a mandatory fee paid to the city of Braunlage—we’ll handle this for you.) The rental price includes the costs for Wi-Fi (no refunds for service disruptions), water, heat, electricity, bed linens, and towels.
