Its location to the function we were attending. It accommodated our needs. It was warm, comfortable and cozy. It provided a vast selection of tea and coffee.
There was electric blankets on the beds. Good supply of hot water for showers in the morning.
Nothing really.
If anything we were 3 sisters travelling together thinking we would have a bedroom each until it was discovered only the two queen size beds had electric blankets. So two of us shared a bed.

Everything!!! Everything was exactly as described. From the warmth of the fire, with ample firewood, including the outside fire pit (was a hit with the children roasting marshmallows). Beautifully decorated and designed. Communication with the host - Jacqui was prompt and friendly.
Mountain view cottages exceeded our hopes. Every detail has been considered, including the small ones - Epsom salts to enjoy in the claw foot bath, spices to cook. Beautiful garden with fresh produce to use. The welcome package of eggs and bacon in the fridge, and a parcel to make bread. Comfortable, cosy, clean, and homely.
We were looking for somewhere quiet and beautiful to unwind for a weekend. We were beyond happy with our choice. Definitely on the list to come back for another stay.
The amount of time we were there for. Our fault, we should have booked longer! We will next time!
I didn't get photos, as phones were barely touched.
