Friendly staff, free water and coffee (just help yourself from reception), free use of the washing machine on the ground floor, super quiet, lovely lookout across the lake (foom 502), large comfortable bed (firm but not the typically hard mattresses you often get in Vietnam), soft towels, good pillows, a good sized fridge, a comfortable desk for workng from, plenty of power points... the list of positives just goes on.
The location is great,. I loved staying in the Old Quarter on my previous visit but after experiencing Truc Bach and West Lake, this is where I'd base myself again. It's just a bit calmer and a bit less hectic than the Old Quarter, with loads of coffee shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, plus the main market only a few minutes walk away.
There is a kitchenette but if you wanted to good, you'd need to buy oil, salt, pepper etc as there is nothing there apart from plates, basic cutlery, pots and pans. But when in Hanoi, with all the restuarants around, do you really plan to cook yourself? Nah.

Lokalizacja oddalona od zgiełku centrum, ale na tyle niedaleko iż piesze wycieczki nie były problemem (jesteśmy piechurami i lubimy ten rodzaj aktywności, często wychodząc i wracając zmienialiśmy trasę aby odkryć i poznać coś nowego). W trakcie pobytu wybraliśmy się na dwa dni do Sapy, dwa dni na rejs po zatoce Ha Long oraz na jeden dzień na wycieczkę do Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu, rejs do Trang An i do jaskiń Mua. Zawsze czekało na nas czyste i fajne miejsce.
