Very friendly member of staff came to help us when we couldn't find the entrance to the car park. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus.
Instructions for access to car park were vague. We didn't realise food wasn't available after 5 pm on Sunday when we stayed and very limited options in the town. Heated towel rail wasn't working and many redundant switches in the room were confusing.

Lovely old pub, breakfast was delicious and generous
Room was dated and tired

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection
Bed wasn’t comfortable. Shower had mould on ceiling. Milk pots were all empty. Don’t think they’d been checked. Old sock found on floor by settee. Room just didn’t feel clean
