We would have rated the Castle excellent if we had slept better, but having a room on the busy main road made that difficult…we could imagine that another back room was much quieter. But the atmosphere was nice and both dinner and breakfast freshly cooked and well-presented were all enjoyable.

Lovely property, really great staff. Only downside was that a lamp in my room wasn’t working, so not exactly a deal breaker. Other than that, a lovely overnight stay
