Friendly response when I phoned to ask about the keys on arrival. (I had been travelling so hadn't seen the email info). Very clean and spacious, tastefully and restfully decorated, with comfortable chairs and tables and beds. Hosts very kindly took on board our allergies and provided oat milk and gluten free treats we could eat and enjoy in addition to milk and shortbread - AND a very pleasant bottle of wine - All very kind and thoughtful.
There were enough plates and bowls and cutlery, so we didn't spend our whole stay washing dishes. Coffee machine and pods and sachets of teas were great. Microwave and oven worked. Hot water in shower. Sheets, towels, and no fuss - Much appreciated!
No real complaints - but if I had to pick at things, I'd say, because of our health issues, we struggle to access appropriate food in restaurants, so we were a bit disappointed that the kitchen was less well equipped than we would have expected. Loads of cupboards but mostly empty. This isn't a house where we were being encouraged to cook! (That's understandable, as cooking makes a mess...) We couldn't find a sharp knife, or kitchen scissors. - if there had been more than two of us, we might have felt it undersupplied for crockery as well, for a house of its size.
We never tried to turn on the heating (temperature was ok...but on the cool side) but I didn't manage to get hot water on tap in the kitchen or bathroom sink.
Another (slight) annoyance: Neighbours or their visitors parked across the access to our parking space, so we had to park up the road - but that wasn't the fault of the property owners! On the whole, we really enjoyed the space.

This house has every amenity we could ask for and absolutely spotless. You can tell from the interiors that the owners are very serious about providing a welcoming and comfortable stay. After touring the Cotswolds and planing an Oxford stay, this location was very convenient.
Katie, you are a super host and we appreciate all the care you put in to the home.
