Very good small hotel. We enjoyed a lovely pub meal and friendly service when we stayed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with the full range of buffet items unavailable eg cheese and cold meats. The waitress was clearly not familiar with the menu. Room was small but very suitable for the night. Parking was good and it was very dog friendly with a separate dog menu. I would recommend it and would not hesitate to return.

The location of the hotel, the standard room we were given were just right for us. We particularly liked the ceiling fan which provided much needed cooling. So much better eco friendly than air-conditioning. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the food was excellently cooked with plenty to choose from. Go hungry to do the food justice. Drinks and food prices offer good value. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we'd heartily recommend a stay there to anyone.

Nice place to stay in Alnwick with friendly staff. Great beers from the bar and breakfast was freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. One disappointment was the £10 charge for our dog when the listing clearly states that dogs stay for free. Apart from this our stay was great.
