We really liked the location, which was convenient for our stay, and the lovely décor made the apartment feel welcoming. It was clean, comfortable and warm, and the staff were friendly. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras, such as hand soap, washing-up liquid, salt and pepper—useful little touches that made settling in easier.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and warm, in a really good location, and the staff were friendly. However, there were several issues that affected our stay.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work throughout our visit, despite messaging for help and trying the details provided which was a massive problem as WiFi access was needed to access information and tickets for our stay.
The television also wouldn’t switch on. We even bought batteries ourselves to check whether the remote was the problem, but this didn’t resolve it.
The fridge door hinge was broken and wouldn’t close properly, so our food wasn’t staying chilled. There were also only two towels and two forks, two mugs for four guests, and no baking trays to use in the oven, thankfully the local shops had disposable foil trays we could buy.
The stairs were quite a climb to our particular apartment which is worth bearing in mind if you have heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs.
Overall, we liked the apartment and its location, but fixing these issues and providing enough essentials for all guests would make the stay much better.
