The Therese Vacation Home is located at Schlossstraße 17 in Thalveldenz.
Thal is a district of Veldenz, a side valley of the Middle Moselle, not far from Bernkastel-Kues (approx. 10 km). Perched on a cliff above the village stands the old Veldenz Castle, dating from the 12th century, the former ancestral seat of the Counts of Veldenz.
Veldenz is not located directly on the water, but about 2 km inland, right below the foothills of the Hunsrück and surrounded by beautiful vineyards. An ideal starting point for hikers.
In just a few minutes by car, you can reach Mühlheim an der Mosel, which offers access to riverboat service and is the starting point for numerous bike trails.
This detached vacation home was once an old Moselle cottage built of slate stone and served as housing for the castle’s former staff, like almost all the small houses on this street.
The location is very quiet and has a rustic charm that is hard to find these days.
The house has been restored to modern standards and features a parking space for your car; the garden is right next door, directly below a large slate rock.

On the first floor, in addition to the entryway, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a small living room, and a half-bath with a washer-dryer. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a new bathroom with a shower.
Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and offers enough space for 4 people; if needed, there is also a comfortable sleeping option in the living room on the pull-out sofa.
The living room and bedrooms are equipped with modern TVs.
On-site fees: Pets are welcome. The dog fee is 20 € per stay.
