We had a wonderful stay at BigJ Villas in Nilaveli, Sri Lanka, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay near Nilaveli Beach and Trincomalee.
From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. BigJ Villas has a calm and friendly atmosphere, which makes it a great choice for travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of Nilaveli while staying somewhere comfortable and away from the busier tourist areas.
🏡 Accommodation & Comfort
The villa was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The surroundings are peaceful, and the property provides a nice balance between privacy and easy access to the attractions around Nilaveli.
The rooms were comfortable, and the overall property had a pleasant, homely feeling. After spending the day exploring the area or enjoying the beach, it was a great place to come back to and relax.
❤️ Hospitality
The hospitality was one of the highlights of our stay. The people at BigJ Villas were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they made us feel comfortable throughout our visit.
🌴 Peaceful Atmosphere
What I particularly liked about BigJ Villas is the peaceful atmosphere. Nilaveli itself is a wonderful destination for anyone who wants to slow down, enjoy the beach.

Great location in Nilaveli with a peaceful environment. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and made for a relaxed stay.
Nothing major—everything went smoothly during our stay.

Pool was a good size, rooms reasonably comfortable
Staff were utterly useless- disinterested, rude, incompetent. Tried to charge us for more nights than we booked and at a higher rate.
Food poor.
Overpriced for what it is.
