Disappointing

The bedroom was comfortable, and the apartment had potential. Unfortunately, the positive aspects were outweighed by several issues that significantly affected our stay.

The Wi-Fi only worked in the bedroom and not in the kitchen. The apartment was also not properly cleaned, with large cobwebs visible in several places. The dining area was particularly concerning. Instead of a proper dining table, there was only a pedestal with a heavy stone tabletop resting loosely on top. It was very unstable and could easily slide or fall off. In my opinion, this is a serious safety hazard, especially if a child were to lean on it. The "terrace" turned out to be little more than the area surrounding the downstairs neighbour's skylight and was not really usable. It had clearly not been cleaned for quite some time, and there were even cigarette butts on the ground when we arrived. When the person I was travelling with stepped outside to smoke a cigarette, the neighbour called the police. Even when we were simply in the kitchen near the terrace, she shouted at us. This made the whole experience feel very uncomfortable and unsettling. Finally, the apartment was very sparsely equipped. There was no wardrobe or storage space for personal belongings, only a few wall hooks. The kitchen was also extremely basic, with nothing more than a salt shaker and some kitchen utensils provided. Compared to other apartments I have booked in the past, this was very disappointing.
