Placed between a Karaoke bar and a music pub we were a bit concerned about the possible noise level. But we didn't hear a thing - at least not from these two venues (a special thanks to Inverness police for providing us with a bit of excitement).
The kitchen is well equipped and boasts a 7 kg washing machine which came in handy. WiFi was working fine during our stay. The apartment was clean and tidy. This includes the hob and the cookware. I suspect our host had to clean these thoroughly considering the negligence of some Bookingers I had to experience in some of my accomodations. This is certainly a clear PlusPlus... for me, at least.
The Coop supermarket across the street adds to the comfort. A M&S food hall and a Morrison's are within walking distance as is Inverness centre (I highly recommend a visit to Morrison's if you are looking for a certain variety of vegan or vegetarian food options). There is also a shopping mall next to the train station.
The River Ness is within two minutes of walking distance. So is the castle. If you are looking for a relaxed day out I strongly recommend Nairn. It is (at the time of writing) £ 8.20 pp and you can experience a day out at the beach.
I couldn't find something first - but my daughter reminded me that as a German I have to complain about something, so I reluctantly agreed.
If you aren't used to British (Scottish?) shower applications you might find it difficult to maintain a constant flow of hot water in the shower.
And you don't see the London Tower Bridge from the apartment.
Oh yes - as a German you will find it a bit difficult to do "Stosslueften" (house burping - please look up the term).

Great location. Very clean. Everything you need. Good communication with host.
Did laugh at the hole cut in the blinds for an arm to open the window.. could always just put blinds up to do this!
Unfortunately storage heaters were off therefore when switched on no heat came out. It was freezing. Eventually heating up overnight.
Shower ran hot and cold. Only one of our party of 3 tried the shower as no one else wanted too with that.
Only one soft seat to sit on for everyone in party, in our case 3 of us. Two beds in the lounge and TV in that room. No TV in the other room.
