The room was very clean, the staff were lovely and we appreciated having a microwave, kettle and fridge. We enjoyed using the onsen and there was even a baby bath for our baby (it’s described as a public onsen but actually it’s a shared onsen which you can use privately by locking the door whilst you’re in there). We made use of the washing machine and dryer too which was very handy. We were able to reach the property pretty easily using the gora railway up the hill with all our suitcases (there’s a stop outside the apartment although Google suggests a different one which involves walking so it’s best ignored). We were also able to get a bus directly to odawara station with all our luggage on checkout day by walking up the hill for a few minutes. The only downside to this location is that it’s a steep downhill walk to the convenience store/ cafes and you’re best taking the railway back up.
There’s currently a huge construction site next door. They only work during the day so if you’re out doing the loop it probably won’t be an issue, but my husband was sick and wasn’t able to rest during the day due to the noise.
It would be good to have some hooks for towels in the bathroom so that they’re easy to grab when stepping out of the shower. We stayed 3 nights and once the towels were wet it took them a long time to dry on the hanger provided.

設備が整っていてとても快適に過ごせました。
プロジェクターに関しても、上手く作動しなかった時ように予備までご用意くださり、お風呂も私達しかいなかった為自由に使わせて頂きました。
包丁、まな板、フライパン、菜箸、スポンジや洗剤も給油ポットも全て備わっていました。
ケーブルカーの上強羅駅もほぼ宿の真上くらいにあり、ケーブルカー自体の終電は早いですし、最寄りバス停の中強羅入口までも坂道ですが、徒歩2~3分と近いのでそこまで問題ないと思います。
周りは自然だらけなので虫は多いです。
雨も降っていてそれほど気になりませんでしたが、苦手な人は対策をおすすめします。
そして、歩いて15分くらいの距離にコンビニはありますが、坂道が多い場所なので往復でも一苦労かと…(スーパー等も近くにはないです)
時間の問題もあり、バスやケーブルカーよりタクシー移動がほとんどでした。出来る方はレンタカーを宿泊分レンタルしといた方が移動は困らないと思います。(スタッフの方も車で来るので駐車場等は事前にホストの方に確認してみてください)

Hakone is very quiet at night with limited food options. Just have to plan ahead.

Wir hatten das Haus mit mehreren Zimmern. Auf den Matratzen kann man gut schlafen. Es war sauber.
Das heiße Bad war toll und wurde für uns mehrmals zum gewünschten Zeitpunkt vorbereitet.
Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas spartanisch, aber ausreichend um etwas einfaches zu kochen.
Den Beamer haben wir mehrmals genutzt. Das war top, auch wenn dieser einen Dunklen Fleck im Bild hat und evtl. mal ausgetauscht werden könnte.
Der nächste Lawson lässt sich tagsüber einfach mit dem Cablecar (Bis Gora) und dann eine Station mit der Bahn erreichen.
Das Angebot ist irreführend. Das Haus hat keine eigene Terrasse. Es sind Räume in dem Angebot abgebildet die es nicht gibt.
Vermutlich aus dem Abfluss der Waschmaschine dringt ein schimmeliger Geruch. Etwas Abhilfe hat geschaffen die Tür zum Badezimmer zu zu lassen und den Lüfter in der Dusche laufen zu lassen.
Die Klimaanlage im Esszimmer funktioniert nur sporadisch eine gewisse Zeit, dann nicht mehr. Betrifft Kühlen und Heizen.
Die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer hat eine derartige Unwucht, dass das Gerät und die Wand bei Betrieb wackeln. Ein Betrieb auf kleinster Lüfterstufe ist grade noch möglich, allerdings klappern dann die Schiebetüren vor sich hin.
Bei den Waschbecken gibt es leider keine Spiegel.
