Good location - close to the train and bus and some good places to eat. Staff were very helpful. Great onsen facilities and lounge area.

A lovely stay in Hakone! The guest house was spotlessly clean with beautiful onsens (outdoor and indoor) and a charming, relaxed vibe. Convenience stores with great food are just a few minutes' walk away, as is a lovely breakfast spot (breakfast by monk). Set in such a beautiful part of Hakone, it's a place I'd happily return to and recommend to anyone.

The onsen was a highlight of our stay. Room was quite traditional, we also enjoyed that.
Location is quite complicated for exploring the area, as buses are usually full so you have to wait for another one and it takes way more time to get somewhere. Narrow streets and traffic jams in some parts (we had to go to Odawara within our plans). Not a fault of the accomodation, just something to take into consideration.
