About this house rental
Renovated from the original 70-year-old main building of “Maruyo Lumber,” founded in the Meiji era.
Pass through the grand gate with a glimpse of the cypress plank fence, step through the noren curtain, and you’ll find yourself in a different world.
Maruyo Hotel is a place that bridges the past and the present, as well as the outside and the inside. It was designed with a focus on the image of past and present, East and West, blending together.
The first floor features a lounge, two twin rooms—each with its own unique charm—and an open-air bath.
The second floor features a spacious main hall overlooking the Ibi River and Sumiyoshi Shrine, as well as a library.
This is a private-rental hotel, limited to one group per day, where you can pass the time while sensing the echoes of the past that still linger in this town.
