Was a good 20-30 min walk to everything. But Rome is very spread out.

Spacious and beautifully decorated. Very nice breakfast with eggs to order. Very friendly staff.
Suites are in a joint use building on the second level, although the staff helped bring the luggage up and down.

We loved this hotel. It was in a great location for us near many restaurants that we wanted to try in the Trastevere area and we were able to walk back to the hotel from the Vatican as well as the other major Rome sites (Colosseum, etc) though these sites were further. I felt very safe in this building as it has a beautiful courtyard with a statue with a large door that is secured each evening. You also need to go up Scala 1 (from memory, the stairwell and elevator on the right) and the hotel is on floor 2 and is also locked well. It’s like a hidden luxury hotel and we really enjoyed it. The room had a beautiful balcony, bathroom and separate bedroom vs tv/seated area (with couch, chairs and clothes closets). Met our needs and surprised us how nice it was. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal. Everyone who worked there was super nice and helpful.
Nothing I recall. There is a small elevator you can take up with your luggage that fit my husband and me + 2 medium suitcases and soft pack luggage. It is old school and we were glad to have it for the luggage. Otherwise we always take the stairs as much as possible when we travel.
