Amazing place. I had a short stay at Sokwayah Jungle Villas but everything was absolutely perfect… The road to get to the hotel through rice fields is breathtaking. The peaceful location really helps you unwind and enjoy a little piece of paradise. The pool is wonderful, just as on the pictures. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home!
I would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a longer time.

We were staying at villa for one week and I would definitely recommend to everyone to try such an experience. The villa is located in a secluded place on the rice terrace, close to the jungle. So it allows you to feel yourself away from the noisy city and enjoy the sounds of nature.
The villas room was truly comfortable and suitable for a one week stay.
The location is close to the rice terrace ridgewalk which is offering a big number of cafes and restaurants and also some other activities such as yoga or spa.
The owner of the villa, Putu is an amazing host who was ready to help us on every request in order to make our stay truly comfortable.
Another nice experience was having the massage right next to the villas Pool where you can lie under the open sky and listen the sounds of nature while enjoying the spa.
The location is a bit far away from the main road, but the villa's staff was ready to drop us or pick us up close to the Ubud's central street on demand. Also Gojack bikes are available in the app.

Pulizia, staff, piscina e assoluta tranquillità. Il giardino è molto ben tenuto. La passeggiata di 20 minuti per raggiungere il centro di Ubud è piacevole.
Secondo me non andrebbe chiesto se si desidera la pulizia della stanza.

The only positive aspect of our stay was Putu, who genuinely tried to help resolve the issues we raised. He was professional, attentive, and even offered us a complimentary spa treatment as a gesture of goodwill. While we appreciated his effort, we chose not to accept the offer because we believe it is important to provide an honest review of our overall experience.
Unfortunately, despite Putu’s excellent customer service, the overall stay was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. We would not choose to stay here again.
We were very disappointed with our stay at Sokwayah Jungle.
The property looks beautiful in photos, but unfortunately the actual experience was far below expectations.
There were several major issues during our stay:
1. The swimming pool water was noticeably cloudy and did not appear clean.
2. There was a persistent sewage smell coming from the drainage system, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the villa.
3. The shuttle service was unreliable and often not available on time, causing unnecessary inconvenience.
4. Overall maintenance and guest experience did not meet the standard we expected for this price point.
