We loved the location in the rice fields watching the fireflies at night. The hosts Dede and Maga were beautiful and friendly. Maga made the most delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much bother. We had to leave early for an excursion and Maga started work early and made breakfast before we left for the day. We loved our stay at Luxe Manis Villa.
Nothing, it was all wonderful.

Such a beautiful stay! The decor was stunning. The location was peaceful. The staff were kind, friendly and responsive.
As other people have said, its a very quick 7ish minute walk to the main centre but you do have to walk a narrow, uneven path. Perfectly fine during the day and if you dont have any accessibility needs.
You're right in the middle of the rice fields with nature as your soundtrack. So many little creatures to encounter!
When you arrive with your luggage, Dede and Mega will meet you at a central parking point and take you and your luggage by scooter to the villa. Likewise on departure.
My favourite part of the stay was waking early and taking a stroll along the sweet orange trail with just the birds and a few locals starting their day, then coming home to one of Mega's great breakfasts. Thank you dede and mega!
Not negatives, but a few things to note. The curtains in the bed room are sheer, so you might want to pack an eye mask if you're sensitive to light. The hairdryer is unlikely to dry anything in a hurry, so I'd suggest bringing one with you if needed.
As others said, there were a few ants but it wasn't a big deal and is expected given the environment.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Ze doen er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken.
De locatie is ook prachtig in de rijstvelden met warungs nabij en Ubud op loopafstand maar toch buiten alle drukte.
Omdat mijn kinderen op de slaapbank sliepen miste ik een zachte confortabele stoel of bank alhoewel de stoelen buiten best prima waren.
