Apartment by the Large Meadow—Nature, Views, and Relaxation. As the name suggests, the Apartment by the Large Meadow is situated right next to a sprawling meadow with a magnificent view of the Gemeindealpe and the imposing Ötscher. In early summer, a sea of flowers; in summer, the scent of fresh hay; in winter, a white blanket of snow—nature shows itself at its most beautiful here. The approximately 70 m² vacation apartment can accommodate up to 4 or a maximum of 5 people and is located on the first floor. It is furnished with great attention to detail and features all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment features a bright, open-concept kitchen-living area with a cozy dining area and a loft, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a practical storage room and a washing machine. The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Additional sleeping options include a double bed on the loft and—on a second loft level—an optional single bed. The sleeping berths under the roof are accessed via steep stairs without a railing and are therefore not suitable for small children. A special highlight is the spacious balcony with a magnificent view of the Gemeindealpe and the Ötscher—perfect for enjoying nature and simply unwinding! The centerpiece? The spacious terrace—the perfect place to start the day, wind down at the end of the day, or simply let your gaze wander for hours. The house is located between Mitterbach, the charming nature park community on Lake Erlauf, and Mariazell with its famous basilica. The popular destinations of Gemeindealpe, Bürgeralpe, and Lake Erlauf are within easy reach—whether for hiking, swimming, or athletic adventures. In winter, perfectly groomed ski slopes, cross-country trails, and toboggan runs await right in the surrounding area. If you arrive between May 1 and October 26, you’ll receive the Wilde Wunder Card free of charge upon arrival, valid for the duration of your booked stay. Check-in: 4:00–6:00 p.m., check-out: 10:30 a.m. We’ll leave the key in the key safe located directly at the accommodation, Bundesstraße 49, 8630 Mariazell. As soon as we’ve received the full booking amount, you’ll conveniently receive the code for the key safe via text message. Payment terms: A deposit of 25% of the total invoice amount is due within 14 days of receiving the booking confirmation; the remaining balance must be paid by bank transfer no later than 3 days before arrival. A visitor’s tax of 2.60 EUR per person per night will be charged separately on site.
