We stayed put on Skye due to amber weather warnings. I’m a photographer so the wild and dramatic of Scottish weather suited me.. No regrets, I captured some insane high-wind and heavy rain photography. Nice room, aye it’s expensive and cheaper places were available, but so glad we chose this place because my wife was loving everything. Coming back to that hot rainfall shower when cold wet and tired - heaven.
On the Sunday, most places were closed, not sure if that’s the weather or the time of year. Host messaged - charge up in case of a power outage, appreciated the heads up but never needed to after all.

The house was designed by a young NHS doctor and she’s made a beautiful job with colour & furnishing choices. The selection of 1960s counter-culture photography was a fantastic highlight that really resonated with me.
We prefer a personal check-in, but the Ring doorbell was invaluable when we needed a restaurant suggestion and to find a bottle opener.

The property have high quality of all aspects. A small guesthouse with big character.

Better views to be had on Skye but the room and welcoming feel made up for that. Pub down the road for a full breakfast in morning and a pint in the evening, can’t get better than that, absolute quality
All good
