Room was exceptionally clean quiet location with swimming pool not used by myself BUT a good thing to have in summer. Breakfast = really good freshly cooked and tasty Evening meal - slightly more expensive that surrounding area inns but substantial meal
Would have liked bottled water in the room
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
I loved the food. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were amazingly helpful. I enjoyed using the pool and was pleased that the owner and management team were supportive throughout the booking and visiting process.
There was really nothing that I didnt like - I felt well looked after!

Everything! A warm welcome by friendly, happy and helpful staff. Clean and well thought out rooms. Comfortable beds that ensured a good nights sleep. Well cooked and well presented breakfast. Large car park for easy parking. A beautiful garden area.

Breakfast was excellent. Full English beautifully cooked. Very pleasant staff.
From reading reviews we must have been unlucky with room 8. It was small, bed uncomfortable, bathroom floor reminiscent of public toilets, shower small, towels frayed. Quite disappointed with tired room. Overpriced.
