About this hotel
This stand-alone cottage apartment is inspired by the legendary "Satchmo", Louis Armstrong. With modern design and jazz-era flair, you'll be right at home with a small kitchen; living room with a full-size pull-out bed, flatscreen TV, turntable with vinyl; a dressing room; and a bespoke tiled bath with a walk-in shower, sink, and a make-up vanity. The queen-size bedroom features a flatscreen TV, a Tivoli radio, and a door to a private deck area with seating, a bamboo garden, and a view of the sea. You'll wake up from the luxurious bed in this deco-influenced cottage feeling like you're living "La Vie en Rose"! Whether on a romantic getaway, a solitary beachside stay, or an adventure with family and friends, you'll leave The Armstrong well-rested, inspired, and maybe even humming, "What a Wonderful World"!

8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
We enjoyed our stay at the Louie. The Nye Beach location can't be beat and the concept is very neat. That said, we were expecting a slightly larger accommodation based on the pictures and it did sometimes feel cramped with 2 kids over the course of our 8-night stay.
