It had everything you need for a break away, the owner seems to have thought of everything, proper home from home. Neil was also on hand to change battery in smoke alarm very promptly. It was close to shops, pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed the local bars and had a lovely meal in The Boathouse at bottom of the street.
We were a bit worried about parking and after we dropped stuff off at flat we drove round looking for parking space. After downloading app we were allowed to stay in Charlotte Street car park for 24hrs for £3 then were allowed to renew it on app for another 24hrs.

The location was ideal for our trip to the races
The bed was a bit small and we kind of irritated each other all night. The room is big enough for a bigger bed.

Superb location, spotlessly clean, well appointed and very professional and friendly owner. Quiet street yet very central.
