For us the location was perfect Lovely character property that was close to beach and restaurants without the crowd.

Ideal location in Ayr for both the beach and the Main Street. Apartment is beautifully furnished, very clean and excellent communication from our host Ian. This was our 3rd visit here and look forward to returning.

Great apartment ideally situated near the seafront one way and near the shops the other, both within short walking distance. Lively town with lots of places to eat and good variety of local shops and chain stores. Also near to the Robert Burns museum. Good base for visiting the coast of Ayrshire and also the Galloway forest and Loch Doon which was spectacular.

Property is perfectly located for Ayr town centre and has loads of space but misses the mark on a few counts:
- needs a good clean. The sofas smell a bit, the oven was dirty and there were a few areas of the flat that needed to be introduced to detergent.
- bed and pillows a bit lumpy and past their best
- decor very tired. Flaky paint on the ceiling and a few damp patches.
These things are all fixable for not very much money. If fixed it would be the perfect short term rental.
