The staff were nice and the hotel itself was clean. There were bums around at the front of the hotel. There's nothing that the business can do about that. The city needs to deal with that problem. Premier inn was pretty nice. They had a nice dining area. The staff was a little slow on the dining and the kitchen was a little slow but the food was decent. Better than average. The hotel room was very very small even though it should have been one of the bigger rooms they had available. It's literally the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in even though it should have had extra space for extra beds for myself, my wife and my four kids. We booked the biggest room they had available as far as I could tell and it was really small.
Otherwise it was very orderly and well taken care of so no complaints on the staff.

The location was excellent. Right next to the New Street train station and just around the corner from Bullring. The receptionist was very welcoming. The bed was big and soft. The room got a little bit hot, but there was air con that worked well. Lots of hot water in the shower although the water preasure could be better. A kettle and free coffee in the room. We were placed in a room with access for quests with dissabilities and on Monday at 12:00 there came a man to check the alarms that we had to let in. We were not adviced about that beforehand, so be ware. There is also an Amazon Locker inside the hotel downstairs by the elevators which is handy. We stayed 5 nights and were very pleased with our choice in hotel. We will stay here again when visiting Birmingham.
