About this cabin rental
Lodge sleeps 7(8) adults. It sits on the lower slopes of a small mountain with a magnificent view over river, sea and mountains afar. A hot water tub is on the large patio that surrounds the house. We try to keep tub open through winter but cannot guarantee it. House is conveniently located 10-80 minutes drive from all major attractions and recreational choices in West Iceland, such as:

Langjökull Glacier
Thingvelli National Park
Hraunfossar Waterfalls
Vidgelmir Cave
Reykholt Historical Site

Great place near Borgarnes! Conveniently located near the town Borgarnes that has all the shopping you'll need. Great location for exploring the west side of the island, specifically the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and the hot tub worked great. Would stay again.

The view was so amazing. Very peaceful, quiet surrounding. Host was kind enough to find me a beekeeper to visit there(went out of his way). Highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It’s a wonderful location and the view could not be any better. The coffee pot and tea pot needed a deep cleaning. There were some issues with the shower leaking and we were only given 5 towels for 5 people but that’s was our only complaint. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners. The beds were comfy. The hot tub had a bit of a learning curve but once we got the hang of it we enjoyed it. Coffee by the living room window was amazing and I never wanted to leave that view. I will remember it forever!
