The attentive service, the warm and willing help, and the fact that, even after five days, breakfast still had a little something different each morning: we were very lucky to pick Emilion for our stay in Istanbul.
The location is faultless. Every major sight in the Old City is within walking distance, and you're surrounded by restaurants, famous dessert shops, supermarkets, juice stalls, and bus and metro stops. Cross the bridge and you're in the New City. Simply perfect!
The only small drawbacks: as a charming boutique hotel in the lively heart of the city, the room is compact. With two large luggage’s open beside the bed, there's hardly any floor space left, and the windows let in some noise. Earplugs solved that completely.

We stayed five nights at Hotel Emilion in October 2026 and could not have asked for a better stay. The hotel is very clean: our room and the common areas were spotless throughout.
The staff were the highlight. Everyone, from the reception team to the people serving breakfast to the housekeeping staff, was friendly, polite and genuinely caring. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and every request was handled with a smile. It's rare to find such consistent hospitality across the whole team.
The location is excellent. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a tram station is a very short walk from the door, and the ferry terminal is also close. That made getting around Istanbul easy and stress-free.
I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Almost everything.
The staff were amazing. Aslan, Sami were just outstanding. Also I needed an extra room midway through our visit and they were super accommodating.
Rooms were modern, spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was good.
Maybe it’s because the weather wasn’t great but we couldn’t find anywhere to have a drink in the evening when we didn’t feel like going out after a long day sightseeing.
