If you are coming to Danang on a Fri/Sat/Sun make sure to book a private suite
with Balcony and Dragon Bridge View, the view from my room 1009 was incredible, it's worth paying the extra for the view of the fire spitting dragon at 9pm, if they say Paris is the city of lights, then I would assume they haven't been to Danang, the hotel is only 1 year old and it's amazing, breakfast is delicious and service was great, the free mini bar consisted of 3 green mandarins, 2 cans of coke and 2 cans of lemonade, so don't get excited about the free mini bar.
I am sure a new hotel has a settling in period, the hiring of staff in a country where service even in a 2star hotel usually is top notch, I found the checkin to be lacking in professionalism, I actually had to go and ask for my passport back when I realized it was still sitting on bench, this should have been checked and copied immediately, then handed back, the checkout procedure again, was not great, I was asked who I had booked with and to pull up my booking, which was not necessary, basically it was a ruse to get me to leave a 10star review of the hotel, when I said I like to think about what I would say, she again tried to get me to do the review right then, this of course doesn't detract from the beautiful hotel and location but it shows lack of training.

The location was brilliant, close to everything. The staff were very helpful. Always opening doors, helping with grab taxi. Always polite. The food was great, a lovely breakfast was provided by buffet each morning. The rooftop pool and bar is amazing. Great location for the dragon bridge show

Breakfast was decent. It wasn't outstanding. The hot foods was not warm. The cantaloupe was hard as it needed to be ripened more before serving. I wanted a mocha but unfortunately only lattes, cappuccinos and regular coffee and teas were served. The pastries did not taste fresh.
Our grand river view suite was ok. I found the decor very plain and uninviting The view of the river was nice.
