About this house rental
Come enjoy country views just 4.1 miles from downtown Palisade. This adorable mother in law "barn" is located right behind our main living house. We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield looming to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best!
Our "barn" has 1 real bedroom with a king bed downstairs. The second bedroom is located upstairs in a loft. Please note that it is very open and there is no door, so if privacy is important to you, the second bedroom is not private. The pull out couch is located in the main open living area. We have a full kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, and lots of cooking utensils. If you are booking this space for 6 people, please remember that there is only 1 bathroom and it is small but efficient.
We live across from the barn and we have 2 kids and a busy life so you will likely see us out and about. We have 2 small dogs, 2 cats & a bunch of chickens. The dogs & cats definitely like to wander over to visit.
The outdoor space: We love our yard and we hope you do too! We have a graveled patio with a gas fireplace for you to enjoy. The hot tub is situated between your barn and our house and we don't use it if you're in it. It's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We like to make this as comfortable for you as we can, but we also live here and sometimes need a soak too! :)
We have an outdoor patio with seating for 6 and a gas BBQ.

Highly recommend the Red Barn for your stay in Palisade. The view right outside your window of Mt. Garfield is amazing. And as a bonus you can see horses and chickens and cats and dogs! It is quiet and private and close to many peach farms and wineries. The inside is very comfortable and decorated so cute. Great communication with the hosts and easy check in and check out. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Red Barn. Leah’s instructions on getting to the property were perfect, despite the rural roads and potential to get lost. The check-in was seamless, and the barn itself was spotlessly clean stocked with everything you could possibly need. They have clearly thought through all of the small details to make a guest’s stay a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Palisade!
