About this house rental
Lambert Apartment is a wonderful second-floor apartment without an elevator, completely renovated between 2019 and March 2020 while preserving the typical Florentine style with coffered wooden ceilings, large windows, spacious common areas, and a new air conditioning system. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed plus a bathroom, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and another bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, two bathrooms, a laundry room, a living room with two sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed), and a kitchen/dining room. Via del Corno is a charming street that connects to Palazzo Vecchio (30 meters away). In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Museum, the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Piazza della Repubblica, the Duomo, and the splendid churches of Santa Croce and San Lorenzo. Lambert Apartment is located in the building where the great Italian writer Vasco Pratolini spent his childhood and adolescence; it was here that he wrote his novel *Cronache di poveri amanti* (*Chronicles of Poor Lovers*), a collection of private and shared stories of men and women whose lives intertwine during the twenty years of Fascist rule in Florence. Upon your arrival, Elena and Michele will be at your complete disposal to recommend the best restaurants and bars, provide information on current exhibitions in Florence, and help you organize your visits to museums and churches. We’ll do everything we can to make your stay in Florence truly special—creating memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

This apartment is quite spacious and works well for two families (we had seven people total). There are tons of beds and having three full bathrooms is great. The apartment is steps away from major tourist sites. Michele is an amazing host -- responsive and helpful. We did have some noise late at night from people coming back from bars, and early morning from vendors rolling out metal carts for the market. The apartment overall could benefit from more furniture -- there is not a desk in the apartment anywhere, and luggage racks or dressers in the bedrooms would be useful. Would definitely recommend!

The experience we had in Florence with Michele was above and beyond! The apartment was amazing! Clean, rooms/bathrooms comfortable and the location was perfect! Michele recommended local restaurants that were delicious. He was an amazing hostess and I would recommend his apartment to all! Thank you Michele!
