Frustrated, simple things with a very small effort and little cost could have made this a pleasant stay.

Good location, clean

Arrived at around 10 pm in light rain to find key for wrong address in key box and couldn’t get in and had to call company. Quickly sorted out as the property company’s office was across the road. Felt that it was almost on purpose for some reason. Very basic. White walls with very basic painting with scuff marks. No pictures etc. No information re anything including internet, heating etc. found a wifi connection with no password. Didn’t use it. Not acceptable in today’s cyber risk environment. No bed side lights. Had lo leave light on in a bathroom to provide light to move around in unfamiliar location at night. Had a shower in morning, wet room design, not great in a small bathroom. Quickly realised that floor sloped into the bedroom and that drain was not coping with water which was running into the bedroom. As there were no tables computer and phones were charging on floor, luckily briefcase was protecting them , and got wet. Quickly unplugged them. Seriously dangerous. Used a number of towels to stop water flowing out of the bathroom into bedroom and others to mop up water in bedroom. Couldn’t get to water under bed. Ground floor and basement apartment. Quite an active street. Front door blind broken. 2nd bedroom at back of house did not have a blind on window. I stay in apartments in a few countries in the world. This has to be one of the worst experiences I have had. Obviously aimed at making as much money as possible with little or no effort to provide comfortable and informed environment.
