Great Stay!

I had a great stay here. There’s good transport and lots of restaurants nearby so it is a very convenient location. The hosts were very responsive, anything I needed they were prompt in their responses. The apartment was nice and homely.

If you enjoy dust and sleepless nights, this place is a dream come true. The stay was uncomfortable.

Location was good and along the road there is a lot of HALAL food stall. Near to Train and MRT Station. ONLY about 3 to 4 bus-stop away. 'I DEMAND A COMPENSATION FOR THE FIRST 2 DAYS STAY THAT WE SUFFER FOR THE COOLNEST THAT WE CAN'T SLEEP WELL AT ALL.'

I was really excited about this homestay — the photos looked cozy, and the reviews made it sound like the perfect little getaway. But honestly, the reality was pretty far from what I imagined. The heater system was faulty for 2 days since we arrived. We did message the HOST and was being teach and advice what to do BUT heater system seem like not working FINE. The system was being replaced ONLY after the 4th days after our stay. Even after being replaced, the SYSTEM still NOT FUNCTIONING WELL TILL WE CHECK OUT ON OUR LAST DAY STAY. I had high hopes for this homestay, but unfortunately my experience fell short in several ways. • Cleanliness: The room was not properly cleaned before my arrival. Dust on the shelves and stained linens made it difficult to feel comfortable. Toilet was dirty with MOLDS on the ceiling and even the wall ESPECIALLY near to the bathtub. The shower curtain was DIRTY and SMELLY. Toilet roll was ONLY given 2 rolls extra plus ONLY half balance on the rack. • Amenities: Basic facilities advertised were either missing or not functioning. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the cooking stoves ONLY 2 in working condition. There was NO DRYER as stated on the LIST. Refrigerator was NOT COLD enuf!!! We stay for 7 days BUT towel was given ONLY 1 each for us. We have 5 person in a family!!!! There was no EXTRA BLANKET for the sofa bed!!! • Hospitality: While the host was polite. I felt more like I was left to figure things out on my own rather than being welcomed. • Value: Given the price, I expected a more pleasant and reliable stay. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and wishing I had chosen another option. By the end of the stay, it wasn’t terrible in a dramatic way, but it was one of those experiences where you keep thinking, “This could’ve been so much better.” Overall, this homestay did not meet the standards promised in its listing. I hope the host takes steps to improve cleanliness, communication, and amenities for future guests.
