A Horrible Experience: Unacceptable conditions and a complete lack of professionalism!

It is similar to what you see in the pictures, and it was clean.

Our stay at this property was an absolute nightmare, and I would strongly urge future guests to think twice before booking. From the moment we arrived, the apartment was plagued by an unbearable odor of mold and humidity. The smell was so overwhelming that it was noticeable even before we entered the unit, from outside the front door. Concerned about the air quality, we immediately contacted the property owners, who promptly assured us that someone would be sent to address the issue. A few hours later, the housekeeper arrived armed with a bottle of Febreze. She acknowledged the smell but dismissed our concerns with the remark, “This is Florida.” That response set the tone for what would become an incredibly frustrating and distressing experience. We genuinely tried to make the best of the situation. However, after just two nights, all of us, including the two young children traveling with me, had started coughing. The Febreze did absolutely nothing to address the underlying problem. Instead, it left us struggling to breathe in an overpowering combination of artificial fragrances and the persistent smell of mold and humidity. When I raised my concerns again, the owners responded with an astonishing lack of professionalism and empathy. Rather than taking our complaints seriously or making a genuine effort to investigate the issue, they insisted that their housekeeping staff had detected no odor and that the apartment smelled fresh. Dismissing a guest’s firsthand experience does not resolve a problem; it merely demonstrates a disregard for guest comfort and well-being. To make matters worse, the pull-out couch in the living room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled as though a thousand people had sweated on it, making it completely unsuitable for anyone to sleep on. The condition of the couch reflected a shocking lack of basic cleanliness and care. Then, as if the situation could not possibly get worse, we experienced something truly terrifying.

It can be improved.

The location, close to the airport and Miami Downtown. The propoerty has a fenced shared green area in the outside of the apartment. The parking is close to the house just in front across the street.

There is a smell not so nice like an old house. The kitchen is a bit uncomfortable to use. Too small sink and low light to work in the kitchen. This place shares the building with other apartments. Even small movements in the other apartment are listened and especially at night.
