ROBBED ! APARTMENT DOOR ENTRY CODE NOT CHANGED BETWEEN GUESTS ! AVOID ! NO SECURITY !

Nothing !

ROBBED ! APARTMENT DOOR ENTRY CODE NOT CHANGED BETWEEN GUESTS! AVOID! NO SECURITY ! Unfortunately we had our Luggage stolen while we were out. Discovered that the Number Code for the Apartment Door is not changed between guests. Therefore, any previous Guest could return and gain access to the Apartment. The stay started off badly – the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous guest, or maybe it was the thief? Had to send photos to the Managing Agent / Owner to prove that the Apartment was dirty. We should have realised that something was wrong immediately and gone elsewhere! After reporting the robbery, we had to insist that someone came to change the code on the Apartment door. As we couldn’t go out and risk further intrusions, we had to wait in for hours until an operative arrived to change the door code. This took over 30 minutes after arrival to effect the number change – explains why the number isn’t changed between guests. Then we had to report the matter at the Police Station; purchase new clothes & toiletries – so almost a whole day of our holiday wasted. The Managing Agent / Owner offered a 50% refund which was refused, demanding a 100% refund. This was agreed by the Owner (in the messages) but I have still not received the full amount – only 50%. In addition, no compensation has been offered for loss of Laptop, clothes, phone chargers etc. The Managing Agent / Owner deny liability, but it is entirely their failure to change the Door Code between guests that results in the Apartment not being secure. Insurance won’t pay out as the Apartment was not secure! They have also failed to supply a contact address for the Police to get in touch with them – why? This could have been much worse if someone had gained access while we were asleep! If you value your possessions, DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!

A warm, welcoming appartment in the perfect location

I liked the apartment. It feels homy and it is very clean. The location is great, too, with easy access to nearby shops and attractions.

In general it's quite good but the provider is a bit stingy.

The apartment and its equipment was nice and friendly. Spacious too.

The door mainly. It had some problem opening from the outside and the support was not super helpful. Also they do not provide much of anything. Even the toilet paper was very limited and there was just no way of asking for a refill or anything. Shops are quite close but I would have preferred not to buy a pack of TP just because the hotel is not willing to provide one more roll to be safe.
