About this house rental
Galvanized steel meets warm stucco at Black Butterfly, a house that is part sophisticated, part industrial and entirely at home on two fenced acres of quiet high desert. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors fold open to the pool and its attached hot tub. Two king suites, dark-walled and lit by wrought iron chandeliers, open straight onto the patio. Swim, read, light the propane fire pit and pull up an Adirondack chair. Calm, private and made for unplugging.
The Space:
Black Butterfly combines mixed exterior materials, galvanized steel and warm stucco for a look that is part sophisticated and part industrial, while staying rooted in the desert around it. Custom pieces throughout give the home a one-of-a-kind feel, from a stone-accented fireplace wall to a waterfall-edge island. It is calm, private and made for unplugging, sleeping up to six guests across two king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. It's a good fit for couples, small families or a group of friends who want to slow down together. Fold the glass doors open and leave them that way.
