The kitchen had everything we needed.
The room was clean.
There's a sink in the room so you can drink or brush you teeth without going out to the public WC.
The public shower was ok, with hot water.
Overall our stay was fine, the place was quiet and we did get a good shower and sleep.
Location is good overall.
We had no serious issues, overall our stay was ok. But there were several small issues that were a bit annoying.
First, the room was rather small for a twin room.
Made it a bit cramped for two people with separate luggage (though manageable). The closet is not very useful if you're just there for one night, and it takes useful space.
We were surprised to see there wasn't any electrical outlet in the room - only a USB socket. This prevented charging a laptop or using quick chargers in the room (was possible in public areas).
The kitchen only has towels and rags which eventually get dirty... one time we got there and there weren't any new ones. A paper towel would have been useful.
Location is good overall, but did not seem like a walking distance away from the waterfall as we expected. There's a private property you'd have to go through in the middle (we didn't). We still had to drive to the parking lot - which was a short distance away.

The hostel is in a wonderful location, right next to the Skógafoss waterfall. You can walk past sheep grazing in the meadow. A majestic view and great tranquility. The hostel is very clean and tidy, with an excellent kitchen and a pleasant atmosphere. It was a wonderful stay.
