Very good staff and location. They even contacted me about an available dinner option that was local and wonderful. Great location out and away from crowds. Facilities were good with available kitchen and free coffee and celebration cake. Included breakfast was what was traditionally served in most hotels. It's a hostel and I had a single room that was very basic as expected.
First night the guests observed the 10pm quiet time. Unfortunately, the second night I was there a large group of around 20 people arrived and they turned the common area into a loud bar scene. No problem we are all on vacation, but they did not stop at 10pm only loudly dispersed throughout the hostel. No respect for anyone else in the hostel and seems hostel staff are not there after 10pm to manage things. This group also quickly clogged up one of the 2 bathrooms on the ground floor, and it was unserviceable for the rest of the time. If a large group is booked this hostel should assure staff are there all night to keep things under control. So, I got a true hostel experience, not sure it was worth the money I saved.

Located near town but quiet surroundings
Very small kitchen at 1st floor next to bedrooms. Two bathrooms are not allowed to use from 10pm to 8am

Location is good if you want to take the ferry to islands, or as a stopover.
The room was good and the shared showers are fantastic.
The staff treated us kindly.
There was some issue with noise during the night but it was resolved by staff.

Very clean, free cake and coffee was nice
Very expensive and bad value for money for a 2 bed room a night, tiny kitchen for all guests to use, expensive beer prices
