Spacious villa with great location. Independent stay.

Great location if you have a motorbike. Less than 5 minutes from the centre of Kuta. The pool area is spacious and the loungers very comfortable. Great for sunbathing. The main bedroom has no windows which makes it very dark at night. The other room/bathroom is disconnected from the other and does have a large glass door and good blackout curtains. Beds are large and cozy. The kitchen and lounge area is also very comfortable and nice to socialise in. Located on a hill it has nice views and is very quiet. The property was very clean too. The staff also made a sweet birthday display for my friend on a lounger. Gloria was quick to reply on WhatsApp and answer any questions.

There are three things that I think need to be improved on and are the reason I couldn't give a more positive review for the price. 1. More than one set of keys. We had to keep hiding them as we would not always be together at the villa. 2. A better water dispenser. The plastic pump was poor quality and didn't dispense water well. 3. There needs to be some blinds in the bathroom. In the morning whilst we were by the pool a man came in to the property for the electric reading. The walkway is directly past the glass windows. You can see into the entire bathroom. It would have been horrible to have been in the shower or toilet at the time. Worse a stranger, but also not ideal to see each other! We were under the impression that the villa would be private for the entire stay. We were not greeted upon check in and waited for staff to arrive. I understand the property is separate but I did say we would arrive between 7.30-8pm and we were there at 7.40pm. The check in felt rushed. On the second day the staff had to contact me for the room key to enter the property. Another reason to have more keys. Staying in a nice private villa I expected a little more personal treatment. There is no hot tub as advertised. Only outdoor pool.

Very nice looking villa that is very impractical to use.

Most lights didn’t work. Living room ac didn’t work. No table to sit at, only sun lounge. Needs shade outside. The living ac didn’t work and no shade outside so there’s no where to get away from the midday heat. Pool water is hot. There was no soap, shampoo, tea or coffee. The bathrooms have no blinds so anyone walking past and the neighbours can see in. You have to buy your own drinking water.

Satisfactory

Overall, villa India is wonderful! Very modern and comfortable. The staff were super attentive and offered cleaning service on a regular basis!

The downside is that its quite far to walk from the shops and restaurants and beaches, you need a motorbike. And also we found that we lacked more kitchen basic (washing up liquid, tea towels) and some of the utensils were dirty
