Extremely Disappointing Stay
Spaciousness and appliances of the apartment.
Extremely disappointing stay – misleading listing, poor hygiene, and unresolved issues
I paid €1269.27 for 11 nights and expected comfort, peace, and the advertised amenities. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was promised.
Upon arrival, a resident neighbor from apartment 135 blocked my access aggressively, even though I showed my keys. I felt intimidated and unwelcome from the start.
The sauna was advertised but completely unavailable — blocked off and, according to staff, only operational in winter. This was not mentioned in the listing.
Every morning around 07:00, loud construction noise began from the adjacent building, part of the same complex. This made rest impossible and was not disclosed in the listing.
The apartment was not properly cleaned: sweat stains and hair under the mattress protector, dust on furniture, and no proper linens for the second “bed,” which was just a sofa instead of a bed as advertised on booking.com listing’s.
Despite being listed as pet-free, dog bowls were found in a cabinet. I have allergies, so this was not just misleading but dangerous for my health.
Strong cannabis odor came from nearby terraces nearly every day.
Dogs barked late into the night on terraces, and residents were also making loud noises and hanging out on terraces late past building rules of conduct.
The building manager was extremely unhelpful and said rules don’t apply to residents, only to guests. He refused to intervene and told me to call the police if I had issues.
On 12 June, the electricity went out for over 2 hours. I had food in the fridge and laundry in the washer. The agency was unreachable for a long time — I had to call 4 different numbers to finally get someone.
The listing shows a 3-star rating, but also a 4.9-star rating on Google, which is misleading given the actual condition and issues with the property.
I documented everything with photos, videos, and messages. This was not the relaxing stay I was promised.
