This is a wonderful hotel. We stayed 10 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The high point of this hotel are the common areas. There is a great outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs where we could have our morning coffee or late-night glass of wine. Inside there was a bar, a really stunning dining room that looked like a greenhouse garden, and a shared workspace. We had a light dinner in the courtyard on our first night which was a bit lacking. In all fairness however, we had been up for 36 hours at this time and were pretty punchy. The food in the main dining room was fantastic. We started each day with an excellent cappuccino from the coffee bar. Our room was spacious for European standards with a combination living area and kitchen complete with a washer/dryer. We had a separate bedroom with a comfortable queen bed.
The lighting in the room could have been better. There was a lovely little makeup table with mirror in the bedroom but the lighting was poor so it was difficult to use. The rooms are painted in brownish/mustard tones with terracotta-colored tiles. I think if they were painted a light color the room would be more cheerful and appear bigger.

The hotel is conveniently located, beds are very comfortable and therr is a microwave which is very convenient
The housekeeping is not consistent. When we checked in there was a piece of cloth on the floor from cleaning which was not taken away. Second day one room got cleaned while the other didnt, and the housekeeper threw away the chinese tea in a tin in our fridge when we havent checked out, and left inside half a bottle of juice and milk inside which looked so suspicious

Incredible location and property, but most importantly wonderful staff. Gonzalo especially and the team in general was next level. Truly unique hospitality

Courtyard and dining room were lovely, pity Rory had fully booked the restaurant with locals so we could not use it - manager was rather brusque and unhelpful
Ad hoc receptionists, only one cup in for hot drinks, no coffee or tea supplied, half a toilet roll - do you really think that’s acceptable, especially after we had reported all these things twice

"We loved the location. It was so close to restaurants, the metro and walkable to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The beautiful park and flower gardens were just a block away. The staff that helped us we..."
