Great location close to the airport, nicely decorated and good communication and customer service
There was a strange smell in the room that was quite strong, almost like a food/cooking smell, I couldn’t quite place it but it was very strong and off-putting, so much so that I was worried my clothes would smell just from hanging up in the room. Not sure if it’s a one-off (something from the other flats) or a long term issue, as I only stayed one night. Also it’s up 2 flights of stairs, which is fine but not ideal after a long train journey with heavy bags. No complaints otherwise, very nice and good value room.

Very nice room for a short stay
There was no key in the key box when I arrived but they were quick to pick up the phone and sort it out so all good in the end.

the host was kind and responsive to our questions during our stay. However, after I reported the issues regarding the cleanliness, I did not receive any further response
The cleanliness was extremely disappointing. There was hair on the floor and on the sheets, the bedsheet appeared dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. It felt as though the bedding had not been changed after the previous guests.
The mini kitchen was also very dirty and greasy, with a spider and cobwebs around the window. We only used it because we arrived late and wanted to heat up some food. If we had arrived earlier, we would have left and found somewhere else to stay.
I was also disappointed that after I reported these issues, I did not receive any further response.
