LOCATION was perfect for us! Just a few steps to the beach. There is also a restaurant right on the beach. Can't beat the price for that kind of beach access, WIFI, quietness, a bar onsite, and spaciousness. We were happily surprised to see a friendly dog on the property. She was such an amazing dog who would come for pats and to sleep at our patio. I enjoyed sitting outside with her right there. I felt very safe on the property. It is easy to find and get boat trip providers to take you out to the reef. If we had a kitchen I would have bought freshly caught fish from a fishman that pulled up one afternoon. Western outlets were perfect for charging our devices. What we kept in mind: We booked a NO TV room; because we watch shows and movies on our phones and tablets. We always bring our own soap due to sensitive skin and used the provided soap for our hands. ONLY had 3 people hanging out on the beach try to talk to or solicit us.
This is something I don't like anywhere but exists everywhere. I just wanted to point it out- There could be some characters that hangout on the beach nearby and not everyone has good intentions. We were told by one person that its a great beach to walk and swim but not to walk it late at night. Like in Turks and Caicos, once the sun sets it gets very dark on the beach. The one 24/7 restaurant is the only place for a good distance that is open and has lights after 10pm. They know people are staying at the places nearby. The nearest main road entrance to the beach is by Barry's. Some just want to sell you a massage or trinkets. Others are looking for a handout. Best to not hold any conversation. If you smoke weed, have your own so you don't need to buy from a beach person. There are plenty of store fronts that sell it legally. If you need a boat trip talk to the restaurant people on the beach or the operators of the boats directly. NO MIDDLE PEOPLE who are hanging on the beach. Only 1 conversation rubbed me the wrong way. My husband had it with a guy who tried to sell us weed at 1st. He tried to get a free drink from my husband after telling a story insinuating he had killed a man before. He never got that drink. My husband is a former cop so that little story couldn't compare to my husbands time in the force. Plus he married into a Jamaican family and knew what to expect.

The ac, the room was gernerally good and comfortable. it was a very comfortable stay.The staff was friendly and very accomodating and i lobe lovw tje dog.
The shower did not look very clean, so maybe focus on that a little bit.
