Beautiful property , kind gentleman that let us in, incredible value for money and pristinely clean.
A little tricky to find does not have name outside and it was a rather dark night when we arrived

Lovely period property with massive rooms, Mark was very welcoming. Room was clean and breakfast was adequate continental as described. Beautiful garden
Our room was purchased as room with private bathroom but we had to walk downstairs, across the house and up another stairs to get to a communal bathroom. We only stayed one night so not an issue but if we were to stay more nights it would have been a bit annoying

Plain and basic no eggs not much variety. The chairs to sit on were plastic and unsafe.
Matress in single room was not even or comfortable. Breakfast could have been better and the sitting was plastic and wobbly.

The lodge is a lovely old georgian building. It is only a few minutes drive from Heathrow Airport. Although so close to the airport, I did not hear any flight sounds during the night.
While this a private property with ample room for multiple cars to park on the gravel inside the property, the courtesy of free parking onsite for guests was not provided and the additional cost of £10.00 per night was exorbitant. There no tea or coffee facilities in the room and no food or drink were permitted in the room at all. I have never found this inconvenience in any other accomodation. There was also an exorbitant £20.00 sprcifically cash key deposit, which sadly I have lost as I had cobfirmed that I would need to leave ro return home at 0630 in the morning. I geft my key in the bedroom as requested, but no one was around to return my key deposit. Its such a shame I cannot reccommend this propery.
