It's the only place we ever stay at when in San Antonio. Good side of town and all the cool stores at walking distance. Highly recommend. Great breakfast and yummy coffee. Good pillows and quiet.

Location and breakfast
The refrigerator was not cleaned out. There was old food left in there. The bed was uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle. The pillows were pretty worn out. No toilet paper in the bathroom when we checked in. Front desk staff were not very pleasant except for one gentleman and the kitchen staff. Dirty towels left in bathroom. I expected the hotel to be better since in it was located in a nice area and the hotel was fairly new but no luck. Same old La Quinta.
